Spring Intensive Maintenance Launched on Watang-Rizhao Railway,
a Major West-to-East Coal Transport Corridor

On March 14, spring intensive maintenance operations began on the Watang-Rizhao Railway, a major corridor for west-to-east coal transportation in China. This 17-day maintenance program is the largest since the railway’s opening, aiming to fully restore the condition of line infrastructure and equipment after the high-intensity Spring Festival travel period and to lay a solid foundation for energy transportation during the upcoming summer peak demand season.
